This past weekend on April 6th and 7th, TEAMZ, Inc held their TEAMZ Blockchain Summit at Toranomon Hills in Tokyo, Japan. The event drew in thousands of people, many coming from all over the world. The concept was to unite traditional finance with the blockchain ecosystem and it did not disappoint.

The summit started with CEO of Litecoin Haus and director of Litecoin, Franklyn Richards with his keynote on the value of blockchain. Franklyn got into the purpose behind the use of blockchain technology and how it can improve many different industries.

The headliner on day two of the summit was host of Off The Chain podcast and founder of Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano who delivered a memorable keynote on transitioning into a digital world.

This panel was a massive step forward for blockchain having representatives from five of the biggest corporations in Japan and the world discussing the progression of blockchain.

Bitcoins price was definitely a huge interest amongst the attendees of the summit. Travis Kling, founder and CIO of Ikigai Asset Management delivered one of the most impactful keynotes, giving the audience an insight into his deep analysis of the cryptocurrency market.

Ben Goertzel – Decentralized AI

Dr. Ben Goertzel is the CEO of the decentralized AI network SingularityNET, a blockchain-based AI platform company, and the Chief Scientist of Hanson Robotics. He gave his speech on decentralized AI and what it could mean for our society. He emphasized the need to keep the power of AI out of the control of big corporations and decentralized it to ensure equality.

Tim Smithe, Chairman of Global Operations for Fight to Fame detailed his vision of tokenizing boxing. With partner Mike Tyson, Fight to Fame wants to to create a token that can be used for the boxing industry. With this token they plan to create a reality show that will give underprivileged fighters a chance to train and make a better living.

The second panel covered security and protecting users funds. It was headlined four crypto exchanges Kiana Shek, co-founder of DigiFinex, Aaron Chen, founder of Coineal Exchange, Jianing Yu, President of Huobi University, Sebastian Rizo-Patron Parks from Bitinka, and moderated by Yanying Deng, Co-Founder and COO of TEAMZ, Inc.

Security tokens are a big topic in Japan. This panel spoke about security tokens and the changes they will bring to the blockchain market. The VIP conference took place after day 1 of the summit. It was a closed door meeting and included all the investors and exchanges that participated as speakers and panelists. The final panel before the lunch break discussed crypto investing and included topics around IEO’s, staking, privacy coins, and news that will help push the market to new highs. Masafumi, founder and CEO of Nevula presented his project of operating an online casino on the blockchain. With Nevula, asset using blockchain technology or digital identity can be digitalized, and the digital asset using smart contract can be managed by oneself. A “smart economy” can be realized in the privacy focused distributed network.

One of the main topics of the summit was usability of blockchain. In this expert panel, use cases and how to grow the usability of blockchain around the world was discussed. It included head of blockchain of Accenture Leigh Gordon Ashlin, Litecoin Haus CEO Franklyn Richards, QTUM Foundation founder Patrick Dai, Hublot Greater China general manager Loic Biver, and was moderated by CEO of Soar Labs Seth Lim.

The last discussion of the event took it a step in another direction and focused on social impact. Most of the crowd stuck around to listen to this impactful talk. It included founding chairman of Hong Kong Blockchain Association Jay Liang, founder and CEO of Blockshine Technology Layla Dong, Wikipedia co-founder and Everipedia CIO Larry Sanger, CEO of Olymp Capital Cristophe De Courson, and was moderated by Cointime COO Angela Tong.

Day 2’s VIP conference covered the blockchain ecosystem. It included Franklyn Richards of Litecoin, Joe Zhuo of HKEX, Larry Sanger of Wikipedia, Jay Liang of Hong Kong Blockchain Association, Leigh Gordon Ashlin of Accenture, Yanislav Malahov of aeternity, Isabella Yu, Kenji Ito of Coin Otaku, Keisuke Horiguchi of Nextmoney, Tsuyoshi Hirayama of IBM, Jianing Yu of Huobi University, Eyal Avramovich of Minebest, Michal Grzywacz of CoinCasso, Mark.Space, Somesing, Bitmain, ICO Crowd, and Collinstar Capital. A serious debate took place between Franklyn of Litecoin and Eyal of Minebest over blockchain regulation which captured the attention of the crowd but it was calmed down after the Yanislav of aeternity interrupted to share some thoughts. Great discussion overall.

8月6日夜、2019広州天英彙国際革新創業大会東京湾地区の開会式が東京表参道Portal Pointイノベーション空間で行われた。これらは天英彙が初めて日本で設定した競技場だ。広州市天河区政府の関係者たちと日本学習院大学の遠藤薫さんらが本開会式に出席した。

広州市天河区人民政府区長の陳加猛が挨拶した。陳加猛は、「今年は天英彙が初めて東京で都市競技場を設立し、東京は経済が繁栄し、科学技術が進歩し、世界で最も重要な国際的な都市の一つであり、その東京湾は広東・香港・マカオ大湾区と同じで世界四大ベイエリアに属し、競技を通じて両大湾区のコミュニケーションの橋渡しをし、日本の優れた企業、プロジェクト、技術と人材を、質の高い発展に推進している広州経済とうまく結びつけていきたいと思う」と述べた。

その後、日本学習院大学教授の遠藤薫は「今こそ日本のイノベーターにとって最高の創業時代だ。工業化後に蓄積された技術革新と知識によって、理性的な日本資本市場は、市場競争力のあるイノベーションを生み出すだろう。より多くの良質な日本のイノベーション事業が天英彙の助けを借りて、中国市場とよりよくリンクすることを期待している。」と挨拶した。

次に、会場からのカウントダウンの声の中、陳加猛、遠藤薫、天英彙海外地区主催側代表者、IBM日本代表者、アリババ クラウド日本代表者と日本人工知能イノベーション企業Autify代表者が共同で天英彙東京湾の横断幕を掲げ、天英彙試合会が日本に正式に始まることを示した。
