The blockchain industry has grown tremendously over the past 10 years. From being unknown to being the technology only for criminals, to now being adopted by huge institutions across the world. It has attracted top talent from many industries including computer science, finance, fintech, digital media, online marketing, AI, engineering, and development.

TEAMZ Blockchain Summit has recently asked their speakers to share their message to the blockchain industry. Below are 5 messages from blockchain experts.

Franklyn Richards joined the Litecoin team in 2013 and In 2016 became a Founding director of the Litecoin Foundation. In 2018 he then helped the Swiss Company ‘Zulu Republic’ develop L I T E the first trustless SMS and Social media messenger wallet, to bring cryptocurrency to the disconnected. Finally in 2019 he set up Litecoin Haus to support Litecoin and operate Litecoin.com

Kiana Shek Digifinex

Kiana Shek - Co-founder of DigiFinex

As a former Deputy General Manager of Business in Baidu’s auto driving department, Kiana was a key player in negotiations for the company’s global business development and partnership and have played a major part in negotiations with car manufacturers, upper-class partners and related government bodies. Previously, she has worked with Baidu’s technology team, helping to forge partnership opportunities for the company’s cloud products and big data,promoting it’s breakthrough technology and carrying out related Public Relations and marketing activities with renowned brands to formulate a long-term market strategy in the technology sector. Towards the end of 2017, she was invited to become the co-founder of DigiFinex, using blockchain technology to create an international and diversified digital asset platform.

The block-chain industry does not lack speculators, but needs more contributors who follows their initial dream, to make the industry less about the money, and more about the applications and full-scale productions.

Larry Sanger Wikipedia

Larry Sanger - Co-founder of Wikipedia, CIO of Everipedia

Larry Sanger, best known as Wikipedia’s co-founder, has started or help start many educational and reference websites: Nupedia, Encyclopedia of Earth, WatchKnowLearn, Reading Bear, Infobitt, and most recently Everipedia, which he has joined as Chief Information Officer planning the world’s first blockchain encyclopedia network. A philosophy Ph.D. whose dissertation concerned the theory of knowledge, Sanger has also written and spoken about the philosophy of the Internet and of online communities. Sanger currently lives in Ohio, U.S.A., with his wife and two homeschooled boys.

Thanks to new blockchain technology, it’s now possible to move beyond Wikipedia just as Wikipedia moved beyond Britannica almost two decades ago.

Seth Lim - CEO and Founder of Soar Labs

Seth Lim is the CEO and founder of Soar Labs and cryptocurrency exchange soarexchange.io. He oversees the strategy and plan for Soarcoin’s growth and drives the passion and process behind the scenes at Soar Labs. He became part of the Cryptocurrency community back in 2011 with his first purchases of Bitcoin and began building his cryptocurrency portfolio. In 2016, he was managing a $80m private funds from investors in China and Dubai to invest in Ethereum,Litecoin, Ripple and Dogecoin. He was also one of the pioneer in China for promoting the adoption of Ripple Gateway when Ripple was unknown to the market.
Seth actively participates in projects that promote the usage of blockchain through ecosystem and application such as education, exchange and actively invest into pre-ICO/IEO phase, blockchain incubators.
Seth is also a Lecturer in China third rank top University Shanghai Jiao Tong Antai School of Economics and Management for Executive Education Blockchain course and currently holds the record of being appointed as the youngest lecturer at age 27.
Seth is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Murdoch University, a Diploma in Information Technology (Digital Security & Forensic Specialization) from Republic Polytechnic.

A leader in the crypto space, David Siemer is the CEO of Wave Financial as well as the founder of WavemakerPartners, Wavemaker Genesis and Genesis. Wavemaker includes seven funds with AUM of $300m in the US and Southeast Asia which have all posted top-decile returns. Wavemaker is the most active investor in Southern California and Southeast Asia, having made investments in over 300 companies. David also founded Siemer & Associates LLC., a technology focused investment bank, which he sold to CEC Capital in 2016. He is passionate about the power of the blockchain to enable a new generation of technology and innovation. David has been investing in cryptocurrency since 2012. David received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
